Indigenous Seven Grandfather Teachings Join Elder Vivian Recollet as she shares the Seven Grandfather Teachings — Love, Respect, Bravery, Honesty, Truth, Humility, and Wisdom. These sacred teachings guide Anishinaabe communities in how to live in balance with each other, the Creator, and the natural world. Passed down from the Seven Grandfathers to the First Elder, the teachings emphasize that each must be practiced together. This workshop offers a meaningful opportunity to reflect on these teachings and their importance in Ojibwa culture and everyday life. Anger is a taboo and stigmatized emotion to express and we experience it differently. This workshop talks about ways we express and cope with anger including topics of Anger Management, Dialectical/Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy skills, exploration of varying expression modalities while normalizing and de - stigmatizing what it means to feel anger. In this class, we will explore how AI can become a useful tool to help us as we develop our resumes, cover letters, and email correspondence with potential employers. We’ll also introduce some of the reasons to be cautious about using AI, how over - reliance on the technology can be harmful, and how employers themselves might be integrating AI tools into their hiring practices. We will focus on ChatGPT , an AI chatbot , and we will present live demonstrations of the model showing how it might be helpful to those seeking employment.
